OpenSSH 是 BSD 類的軟體，只有 Makefile，而 linux 發行版一般都用了 autoconf 生成 Makefile，所以就有了 P1。P1 就是 Patch1 的意思，給 OpenSSH 打上 autoconf 的補丁，方便構建。uj5u.com熱心網友回復：
The portable OpenSSH follows development of the official version, but releases are not synchronized. Portable releases are marked with a 'p' (e.g. 4.0p1).
