需求

收集 ES 的指標, 并進行展示和告警;

現狀

  1. ES 通過 docker compose 安裝
  2. 所在環境的 K8S 集群有 Prometheus 和 AlertManager 及 Grafana

方案

復用現有的監控體系, 通過: Prometheus 監控 ES.

Prometheus 監控 ES 架構

具體實作為:

采集端 elasticsearch_exporter

可以監控的指標為:

elasticsearch_cluster_health_relocating_shards gauge 1 The number of shards that are currently moving from one node to another node.
elasticsearch_cluster_health_status gauge 3 Whether all primary and replica shards are allocated.

以下為手動實施步驟

Docker Compose

docker pull quay.io/prometheuscommunity/elasticsearch-exporter:v1.3.0

docker-compose.yml 示例:

exporter 在每次刮削時都會從 ElasticSearch 集群中獲取資訊,因此過短的刮削間隔會給 ES 主節點帶來負載,特別是當你使用 --es.all--es.indices 運行時,我們建議你測量獲取/_nodes/stats/_all/_stats對你的ES集群來說需要多長時間,以確定你的刮削間隔是否太短,

原 ES 的 docker-copmose.yml 示例如下:

Prometheus 增加靜態抓取配置:

說明:

x.x.x.x 為 ES Exporter IP, 因為 ES Exporter 通過 docker compose 和 ES部署在同一臺機器, 所以這個 IP 也是 ES 的IP.

增加 ES 相關的 Prometheus Rules:

并重啟生效.

??Warning:

  • ElasticsearchTooFewNodesRunning 告警的條件是 es 集群的node 少于 3個, 對于單節點 ES 會誤報, 所以按需開啟rule或按需屏蔽(slience).
  • ElasticsearchHealthyDataNodes 告警同上.

AlertManager 告警規則及收件人配置

按需調整, 示例如下:
